Étoile, founded in 2021 by Céline Felga, is a workshop specializing in the production of hand-painted backdrops for photographic, scenic, installation, and museum projects.
Additionally, Étoile focuses on artistic research that explores the combination of traditional painting techniques with contemporary objects, contexts, and specific projects.

About

Céline Felga is a set painter and artistic director, originally from Toulouse,France, and based in Antwerp since 2006. She began her career in 2004 in theatre, then worked at the Opera Ballet of Flanders for eight years as a props maker and set painter. In 2016, she founded Studio Felga in 2019 to diversify her collaborations, working in fields such as the performing arts, photography, museums, and galleries. Her studio, Étoile, embodies her creative world, blending traditional techniques with contemporary projects. Céline has worked on large-scale projects such as exhibition installations for museums, stage designs for theatrical performances, and collaborative projects with galleries for site-specific art installations. She also creates the windows for the renowned Antwerp-based jewelry brand Wouters & Hendrix and manages the visual merchandising workshop for the production of the windows.
